Privacy Policy

What we collect, why, and the control you have over your data.

Last updated: 22 May 2026

AbsoluteSport respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we process and your rights over it.

1. Who we are

AbsoluteSport (“we”, “us”) is the data controller for personal data processed through our website and app. Reach us via our contact page.

2. What we collect

  • Account data: email, display name, country, avatar, and authentication identifiers.
  • Billing data: handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We store subscription status and a customer reference — not your full card details.
  • Product usage: bets you log, Cup picks, watchlists, alert preferences, pages viewed.
  • Device & fraud-prevention data:a device/visitor identifier used to detect duplicate accounts and protect the Cup’s integrity.
  • Payout & verification data: only if you win a prize — crypto wallet address and identity-verification information.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser, and logs for security and diagnostics.

3. How we use it

  • Provide and personalize the dashboard, alerts, and the Cup;
  • Process payments and manage your subscription;
  • Maintain leaderboard integrity and prevent fraud / multi-accounting;
  • Verify prize winners and make payouts;
  • Communicate service updates and, with consent, marketing;
  • Improve our product and models in aggregate.

4. Legal bases (GDPR)

We rely on: contract (to deliver the service you signed up for), legitimate interests (fraud prevention, product improvement, security), consent (marketing, non-essential cookies), and legal obligation (tax, AML for prize payouts).

5. Who we share data with

We use trusted processors who act on our instructions, including: cloud hosting and database, our payment processor, email delivery, error monitoring, anti-fraud, and identity verification (for winners only). Sports data providers receive no personal data from us. We do not sell your personal data.

6. Cookies

We use essential, analytics, and fraud-prevention cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details and choices.

7. Data retention

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed for the purposes above, then delete or anonymize it — except where we must retain records (e.g., tax, payout, and AML records for prize winners).

8. Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you and regulators of a breach where required.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or object to processing of your data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these, contact us. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

10. International transfers

We may process data outside your country, including via providers in other regions. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses).

11. Changes

We may update this policy and will post the new date above; material changes will be notified.
